"Before Qesh Standards Limited’s Confined Space Entry course, I believed the biggest hazard was the gas I couldn’t see—but they showed me the greater danger was the human decisions made at the entrance, from the casual waiver of a permit condition to the unspoken rescue optimism that puts standby teams at risk. Crawling through their simulator in full BA, finding a casualty in zero visibility while my own pulse hammered in my ears, rewired my understanding of entry supervision, communication discipline, and rescue readiness in ways no classroom video or toolbox talk ever could, and I returned to my facility with a zero-tolerance mindset for procedural shortcuts and a rescue plan I’d actually trust my life to."
